Center Grove Orchard Photos

Updated: Oct 20, 2024

So, each year we go see the Santa at Center Grove, we've been doing this since A was about three. She is now fourteen, so we've been doing this for a minute. He is legitimately the nicest man, talks to our children about what all they said the year before, etc., because our history is so long.

When we would go, I would take photos. I would also take photos during visits in the fall, of course. Up until C$ was about four or so, he was terrified of Santa - but then when he decided to engage, I got this photo:

I don't know if C actually wanted to be there or not, I can't tell.

I sent it and a few others to their PR team, just wanting to share how incredible Santa is, and how much we have enjoyed this for the past several years. They engaged so positively, and out of that it grew that I do a lot of their marketing-ish photos. It works out well for me because we get season passes, and I go out and take photos of our family, others, and sometimes some staged photo shoots.

It's been fun to see our photos in their social media ads and email blasts, as well as on their website.

It's just the neatest environment, and the PR gal is genuinely so awesome. Here are some of my favorite photos from the orchard over the years; click images to expand if desired:

My name is Angie.  I find normal to be largely boring.  I am really lucky to get to spend time behind my camera doing all kinds of fun things, and also super-really annoying my kids by taking a million photos of them.
